The genre of this book is children litertrue an it is about a girl named treasure and Terry her mums boyfriend hits her with his belt and whips her and then he storms of to the pub and then Nan comes in and sees her and makes her come and live with her and they want her back but does treasure want to go back or will she meet a special friend you will have to read the book to find out.
