Celebration
The French put up a tree in the middle of town and it reminds everyone that it's christmas and they make a house that looks like it's made of gingerbread (yum).

In NZ we eat lots of roasts salads we have lots of BBQs and we eat No Snails.

Pengo the Penguin

Once upon a time there was a little penguin called Pengo he was your ordinary penguin but he had a big dream it was to have a bow tie for every occasion but one day he got a letter  and it said: Help me go to the

candy kingdom and they will tell you where I am so please help me!!!!!!

Pengo was terrified and when he looked on the back of the letter it didn't say who it was from “time for another adventure” so he grabbed his adventure bow tie and set off on the start of his new journey.

He came to the candy kingdom and  about ten minutes later he arrived at the gumdrop place and he went up to the thrones the Candy King and the Candy Queen looked at him “yes” they said “I got a letter and on it there is no name and it says that you will tell me where and who they are.”

”Well I guess I should tell you who this person is…. Its your cousin!!!”

The Candy king replied "WHAT!!!” Pengo shouted  “wait which cousin” he said in a confused voice “Skippy”  “oh ok so where is he ”Pengo asked “In the magician's castle in the hidden dungeon " the king told him “all right

so where is the magician's castle?

Oh wait saw it on the way here! Pengo  Said feeling silly. He ran outside and hopped on his little bike and rode off to the castle. From the ground it looked like a 1000 feet to the top (but it really wasn't).

Inside he saw the magician sitting on his special chair in his living room so Pengo crept inside trying not to make a sound he turned around and Pengo ducked he turned back around to watch T.V.

Pengo snuck into the dungeon corridor and he saw Skippy sitting in the darkness “Skippy” said Pengo “Pengo” replied  Skippy what are you doing here saving you replied Pengo “lets go ”Pengo told him Skippy said “First you need the keys from the magician” “ok I will go and get them ”Pengo said “ be careful” Skippy replied.

Pengo crept back up the stairs and saw the magician staring at the T.V like there was no tomorrow he grabbed a big stick and hoisted off the magicians belt and ran back downstairs  “got the keys” he said quite proud of himself “ok lets go” Skippy replied so they both snuck out of the dungeon and crept past the snoring magician and got away safe and sound and they lived happily ever after.

My Dad's Teacher


My  Dad's teacher wasn't half as nice as yours seems to be.
His name was Mister Unsworth and he taught him history.
And when you didn't know a date he'd get you by the ear
And start to twist while you sat there quite paralysed with fear.
He'd twist and twist and twist your ear and twist it more and more.
Until at last the ear came off and landed on the floor.
Our class was full of one-eared boys. He was certain there were eight.
Who'd had them twisted off because they didn't know a date.
So let us now praise teachers who today are all so fine

MISSION 2

The Space ship has a tiny library.

1.The Clock Work Three-Because it has a lot of mystery in it is very exciting to read.In some places it can be spooky and it can leave you on the end of your seat but it is a really good book.

2.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 & 2- It is a really good book in some parts it can be scary but it is a very interesting book and I like it a lot.

3. How to Survive Summer Camp-It is a great book because it is funny but sad at the same time but overall it is a fantactic book.

4.Milly-Molly-Mandy-It is a book about a little girland her life

For  Breakfast: Banana and berry pancakes and golden Syrup

For Lunch: My Dads Macaroni and cheese with Worcestershire sauce.

A day in the Life at Grey Main School

8:30am- The bell rings for the children to go into the buildings and go on the playgrounds.

9:00am- The Bell rings for children to start working and go into class.

9:30am- The milk arrives and and the children drink while they work.

10:00am- The year 7s and 8s go to technology on a Wednesday and Fridays.

10:30am- The kids are learning and working hard.

10:40-11:00am- Is morning tea.

11:00-12:30am  We work in class and we learn and listen to the teacher. Doing Maths,reading,spelling,and writing.

12:30-1:30 Is lunch time.

1:30-3:00 Doing Maths,reading,spelling,or writing or ICT.

3:00 The bell rings and its home time.

WHAT= A Ukranian artist has become a world wide hit by using chewing gum to create her artwork.
 WHO= Artist Anna Sofia Matveyeva has been doing chewing gum art for years she has already she has already finished the famous Elton John and Steve Jobs.

WHEN= Her paintings can weigh up to about 5kg ,I would not want to touch it though (yuck)

DANCE

Dance is a very cool way to exercise your body and make your self more flexible I do jazz which is very fun yesterday I learn some new combinations and we practiced the dance.We wear special shoes called jazz shoes and in compositions we wear costumes.

My nana is special to me because she is kind and caring.She  s always sick she has had nomonia, a liver transplant and a LOT of colds she is a very sick lady.My nana is very genours because she knits for new born baby's and for little kids  in Africa and all  over the place.She can't go a lot of places because but that means she always has time for me and my family when she gives  you a hug it fells like she is a teddy bear and it is so warm.She never shouts or raises her voice if you do something wrong she will say"you cheeky beggar" and laugh, She does a lot  of things her self she cooks she does some of the cleaning and she takes care of her two pets a dog named Bonnie and a cat named Milo (when my dad was little she found Milo on the street and she was a stray so she took her in and she took care of her)she used to have another cat named Paddy  but he died and she was devastated. My nana is  VERY special to me because she is someone that I can always talk to and she will listen and say what she thinks I should do.I love y nana soo much and I hope she will stay with me forever.

My Puppy Marley

My Puppy Marley

 I have a dog his name is Marley and he is a big trouble maker. He has done lots of really random and naughty stuff, I think that they are rather funny.   

1. When my friends  come over he steals their shoes so we have to chase him so we can get them back it is sometimes rather fun, I guess.
2. My bed is right beside the window it is so annoying because he always jumps on my white pillows and gets them dirty.
3. He sleeps on my bed at night right were my feet want to go and also makes little barking noises in his sleep.
4. He follows you everywhere and when I say he follows you I mean FOLLOWS you.   When you want him to come he will not come and when you don't want him to come he comes.
5. He sits right where you want to sit and he just stares at you ALL the time.

BUT HE IS SOOO CUTE!!!

Easter!!!!

Wow! Easter was fun lots of chocolate eggs Easter egg hunts the hole lot. 

I had a great Easter. My family and I went to the beach, we went swimming and we had two egg hunts. 
It was awesome lots of my family over and we did lots of things together it was really cool.

We did an Easter We had a egg hunt at 10pm  and we got 13 each they were good.
