The Real art Roadshow

Today Room 11 went to the Real Art Roadshow which is a gallery inside a truck and it has so many pieces of art they travel all around the west coast and other places and they go to schools and show them the art work.

When I first walked in there I was amazed there was so much art work and it was all so cool. Our gallery guide Sue told us somethings about some of the pieces she said there was about 70 maybe a bit more bits of art and I was really fascinating to learn some the history behind some really cool bits of Art for example there was one piece called shark in a blanket and that piece was made for a tribute to somebody's father who was a fisherman and the boys father would take him out fishing and when the weather got cold he would rap the boy and himself up in a green checkered blanket and so when the father died the son made a sculpture of a hammer head shark and then he rapped it up in a blanket because that was one of his most outstanding childhood memory's.

My favourite piece of art was the one called 30 bits of silver and It had some good history behind it because it was a very cool thing to see it had 30 silver tokens or coins on a long bit of black string and the coins were  use as money in china and in the olden days you did not
